Trauma-informed hypnotherapy · Brighton & online
Break the cycle of anxiety and find a calmer way forward.
If you're living with racing thoughts and a body that seems permanently on high alert, I understand how exhausting that can be.
Together, we'll draw on personalised, evidence-informed psychological and hypnotic techniques to help ease cycles of worry and calm the body's alarm response.
Where useful, we'll also explore deeper emotional patterns and past experiences that may be shaping these responses so that we can create opportunities for new ways of feeling and responding.

01 / Understanding anxiety
You might know, logically, that you're safe, yet still find yourself bracing for what might happen next.
Our minds and bodies learn from experience. If you've had to anticipate other people's moods, avoid conflict or work hard to feel accepted, those responses can become familiar ways of moving through the world.
Exploring the experiences and beliefs that shaped these patterns can bring fresh understanding and open up possibilities for feeling and responding differently. We also make room for what you're navigating in your life today.
03 / The Science Behind My Approach
Research helps me understand how anxiety develops, what keeps it going and what supports meaningful psychological change. I draw on this knowledge to create a thoughtful, personalised pathway towards greater calm, confidence and emotional freedom.
Early relationships. Therapeutic connection. Clinical hypnosis.
I'm fascinated by how these different areas of research come together to help us understand anxiety, and especially how we can use that understanding to create meaningful change.
The ways our feelings were received, our individuality supported and our emotional needs understood can shape our sense of safety and belonging. Research into attachment, emotional attunement and family boundaries helps us understand how subtle relational experiences may influence anxiety, self-trust and the ways we connect with others.
Research links therapist empathy and a strong working alliance with better outcomes. I bring warmth, attunement and active collaboration to our work together.
A meta-analysis of 17 trials found encouraging results for hypnosis in reducing anxiety, particularly when combined with other psychological approaches.
These studies investigate different aspects of anxiety and change; together, they inform my individualised approach.
I'm curious about you. The life you've lived, the experiences that have shaped you, the ways you've learned to protect yourself and the person you might be ready to become.
I want to understand how anxiety shows up in your life, what might be keeping it going and what greater freedom could look and feel like for you.
I bring my clinical knowledge, experience, intuition and genuine investment in your wellbeing to that exploration.
Together, we can create space for greater inner safety, self-trust and the freedom to experience life differently.
Let's begin with a short conversation.
04 / How I Help
I help you feel more integrated and aligned within yourself, develop a deeper sense of safety as you move through the world, and embrace uncertainty with greater self-trust.
Clinical hypnosis offers a focused, experiential space where we can explore the emotional responses, beliefs and learned patterns that may be keeping anxiety alive.
Depending on what emerges, I may draw on Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), imagery rescripting, parts work, EFT, psychological coaching and CBT-informed techniques to support new ways of thinking, feeling and responding.
My approach is collaborative and deeply personal. I'll bring my curiosity, clinical experience and genuine investment in your progress, while we work towards the changes that matter most to you.
