In the year 2000 I won the prestigious PERFORMER OF THE YEAR award, after studying at London's Vocaltech Vocal School. After working as a session singer with the likes of The Serious Hat Band, I decided to start teaching privately to help others like I had been helped. I've had my own set of vocal challenges which I've set out to negotiate, which I believe, makes me quite empathic when working with others.

I attend numerous workshops and courses by leading edge voice consultants to keep my knowledge and practice up to date. These courses include subjects on vocal anatomy and physiology, use of different voice qualities, junior voices and performance coaching. I teach all ages and all levels of ability and confidence and have a very high success rate. We focus on devloping a clear tone to your voice, increasing your vocal power, developing different voice qualities, building your range, connecting your registers, improving breath control, improving pitching, learning new songs and perfecting songs you already know. We can also work on songwriting.

All my students love their lessons and I have had glowing testimonials from them! I feel blessed and very lucky. I have been helped and encouraged along my singing path and that's what I want to do for other people.

Singing lessons are held at my studio in Northwich, Cheshire and at Airtight Studios in Chorlton, Manchester.  Lessons are £40 per hour or £30 for 45 mins or £20 for half an hour. I am also available for team building sessions or group workshops.
