The Front Room Tour
After becoming a little dissolutioned by Mind Body Spirit events I'd decided to take a back seat from that world for a bit to collect my thoughts, gather myself up, have a few new experiences, write about them and make some more music. In the meantime I'm brushing up on my piano skills and am looking forward to organising some intimate gigs in front rooms around the country with just me and piano and maybe a cello. I'm not sure how many of you know this but my alter ego writes for a dance music outfit called Dirty Punkz. This is commercial edgy pop/dance stuff that is all about living life, enjoying yourself and letting your hair down. A world away from the 'spiritual' stuff, but as I'm coming to realise, two sides of the same coin! Click here to see our myspace page. Core Singing. In May 2010 I went to Annecy in France to become a CoreSinging(TM) Instructor. This is a totally new approach to singing which involves learning about how the thoughts (vibrations) totally affect the voice and performance, over and above whatever 'techniques' or 'methods' you may apply. New Album!
My new third album is in it's very early stages of development with the amazing Alan Lowles. Im on a totally new journey now and the floaty ethereal stuff is being replaced by a more hip hop/pop vibe. There are many facets to my personality and all will be shown through music and vocal styles one way or another. Hope this has wet your appetite!
